Hi everyone! My name is Alexander Janczewski and I am a grade 10 student at Upper Canada College. Today I had the pleasure to attend the National High School Business Conference. Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned about Forensic Accounting and Mental fitness. Throughout this conference, I learned about the roles forensic accountants have and even understood the circumstances in which they are present and participating in. I found it interesting how part of their role has to do with investigating search warrants and interviews and even have to analyze financial systems. I was really engaged when the presenter made the example of the twenty-dollar bill and asked what the domination was. What not many noticed was the one-dollar sign at the bottom of the bill which perceived me in thinking that it was actually worth 20 dollars. What surprised me the most however was the risk of enrolling yourself in such a career. The speaker made it clear that he didn't have any social media to ensure nobody would track him especially if he helped break a case.
I didn't only enjoy learning about forensic accounting but also mental fitness. We dove into the muscles in the core that constitute your mental fitness like the saboteurs, the suge and the self-command muscles.
Here is a chart that made it much easier for me to comprehend.

Overall I was super happy that I enrolled myself in such a well-organized program, I loved working with my group especially during the case study and I will definitely compete and take place in another one of these programs.
