Illuminate X Markham Experience

Hi everyone! My name is Joanne and I am a Grade 11 student at Markville SS. Today, I had the pleasure to attend Illuminate x Markham’s regional conference. Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned about consulting.

I expanded my knowledge about the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 and learned about the theory of change. I enjoyed learning about Cybersecurity from Mash Chowdhury and how we shouldn’t be afraid of “Consulting Language”. The speakers helped me open my eyes to the different career possibilities. I enjoyed the interactive games such as Kahoot. I think that the knowledge I gained today will help me explore different career options and I am looking forward to joining another Illuminate conference.
