Illuminate X Markham

Hey everyone! My name is Seyon Sooriakumar and I am a Grade 11 student at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. Today, I had the pleasure to attend Illuminate x Markham’s regional conference. I got a chance to meet unique individuals and like-minded people. One thing that I really enjoyed and took away from the conference was learning about cybersecurity. It really opened my eyes to what cybersecurity is, what they do, what jobs there are, and how it works. I also found the first workshop about social entrepreneurship very interesting as well. It's cool to learn how businesses work today, and nice to get an insider perspective. I'm glad I got a chance to attend this conference and learn about new skillsets. I'm thankful for the guest speakers who came out today to share their experiences and educate us on the work opportunities there are. I look forward to attending another Illuminate conference in the future!
