Illuminate X Durham ~ Regional Conference

Hello everyone I am Hareem Rasool I am a grade 10 student at Pine Ridge Secondary School. I had the chance to join the Illuminate X Durham regional conference on this beautiful day. Today I had the pleasure of listening to Alina Huangs' life story and how she became such a successful woman and the founder of Illuminate. I love Alinas' message that "your grades do not define you" meaning that just because we got bad grades in school does not mean that we don't have great ideas and that we cant become great things. Thank you Alina for teaching me that my grades do not define me as a person, and I would also like to thank you for inspiring me to do things I love.
