Illuminate x Durham

Hi everyone! My name is Marwa Ali and I am a Grade 10 student at Lester b. Pearson Collegiate Institute. Today, I had the pleasure to attend Illuminate x Markham’s regional conference. Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned about the presentation given today. One thing that I learned from this conference was how to collaborate with new people and come up with ideas in a short amount of time based on what we were given. It also helped me be more open to new ideas and approach things in a way that would satisfy everyone. I really enjoyed working with people from many different areas and hearing their different thoughts and opinions. One thing I learned from Alina Huang was to never doubt myself and remember that there is always a solution and I hope to apply this learning to my future development!
