My Experience At The NHSB!

Hi everyone! My name is Lavanya Arora and I am a Grade 10 student at Garth Webb Secondary School. Today, I had the pleasure to attend the National High School Business Conference. Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned through this conference. Firstly, I learned about career pathways in the Business and Finance field, including Forensic Accounting (CPA) and more! We also took part in workshops where we got post-secondary advice from university mentors who guided us through their programs, career paths, and conducted a Q/A. Most importantly, I gained a phenomenal experience of analyzing a case study with my team. The discussions, creation of slideshow/excel sheets, analyzing and explaining proof made those 80 minutes so memorable and useful as they put my learning skills to use in real life context.
