Hi Everyone! My name is Dorian and I am a Grade 11 student at Markville of Secondary School. Today, I had the pleasure to attend the Illuminate National High School Leadership Conference with over 170 students globally. Here is my blog which strives to highlight what I learned about management and executive thinking.

In the first keynote, I learned all about CPA Ontario. I was surprised that CPA was different from it’s stereotype, and I'm very interested in being a CPA. In my second workshop, I learned about leadership and mental fitness. There were interesting stories and real life examples that really helped me grasp what a good leader is. From now on, I will be staying active in being a sage, not a saboter. In my second workshop with Paul, I learned all about marketing sizing and the nitty gritties of TAM SAM SOM. Through the workshop, I now know that I AM an entrepreneur and I will be working hard in the future. I’m looking forward to pursuing my passion for business and participating in NHLC next year. Don’t be afraid to consider yourself a leader!
