Building Financial Confidence, Leadership, and Opportunity for Women of All Ages

Her Prosperity Lab is a multi-stage financial literacy and empowerment initiative designed to support girls and women at every chapter of life — from elementary school to university and into adulthood.
Through interactive workshops, community-led challenges, and access to 100+ online courses and tools, we help learners build financial confidence, make informed decisions, and design prosperous futures.

Program Overview

The mission of this program is to create an accessible, inspiring, and community-driven learning environment where women develop the financial knowledge, skills, and mindsets needed to thrive — academically, professionally, and personally.

Her Prosperity Lab combines:

  • Interactive keynotes & workshops

  • Community-led challenges and events

  • Hands-on activities & scenario-based learning

  • Access to digital learning tools including 100+ online courses, podcast conversations, downloadable workbooks, assessments, and reflection guides

  • Access to sponsorship for community events, and stipends to support learning and development

Program Overview

1. Financial Literacy for Youth: Elementary & High School Workshops

​

Designed to spark early financial confidence, these age-appropriate workshops introduce core concepts like saving, budgeting, earning, entrepreneurship, and decision-making through games, simulations, and real-world examples.

​

Students learn:

  • How money works

  • How to make smart financial choices

  • Basics of saving, spending, and planning

  • Foundations of leadership, confidence, and goal-setting

 

Format:
Interactive school workshops, keynote-style presentations, and hands-on group activities.

2. University “Gazillionaire Challenge”

​

A high-energy, community-led campus event where students compete in teams to solve financial scenarios, build mock investment portfolios, navigate real-life budgeting challenges, and pitch innovative financial solutions.

Students develop:

  • Advanced financial resilience

  • Critical thinking under pressure

  • Teamwork and leadership skills

  • Career-ready financial decision-making

 

Format:
Campus-wide challenge, keynote kickoff, interactive stations, prizes, and leadership certificates.

3. Workshops for Women in Transitional or Underserved Circumstances

​

Her Prosperity Lab partners with shelters, newcomer programs, community agencies, and women’s centres to offer supportive, practical financial literacy workshops tailored to women rebuilding their lives or navigating transition.

Participants gain:

  • Confidence with budgeting, banking, and financial planning

  • Tools for navigating major life transitions

  • Career exploration and small business basics

  • Access to ongoing digital learning resources

​

Format:

  • Trauma-informed, culturally respectful workshops delivered in safe, supportive environments.

 

All participants gain access to a robust library of self-paced tools, including:

  • 100+ online courses across financial literacy, leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal development

  • Podcast sessions featuring industry leaders and inspiring stories

  • Downloadable workbooks & guides

  • Self-assessments to track progress and growth

  • Reflection journaling prompts

  • Curriculum-aligned micro-learning modules

These resources ensure continued learning long after each workshop or event.
