The three-pillar approach makes Illuminate unique. Participating students may choose two of out of the three pillars as their workshop choice to experience a full overview of the relevant business topics. This year the pillars will be revolving around Finance, Technology and Consulting. Join us for a day of three inspirational key-note speeches, a series of workshop, and a case study competition where the winning team can bring home prize up to *$1000 CAD in cash and internship opportunities!

THE COMPETIONS

Concentra Challenge

Delegates will receive the Concentra Challenge exactly one week prior to event date for preparation. Students have the opportunity to develop a thorough solution and prepare a pitch for the judges much like the tasks of industry professionals. All teams must submit their solution at 6pm June 22nd (day prior to event). Successful teams will present in front of judges at the conference and the top three teams will present to all participants for the chance to win the grand prize.

Deloitte Case Competition Details

Delegates will have exactly two hours to prepare for the case competition. The case will challenge students to present a thorough solution to a real world business problem in a short amount of time, testing students problem solving skills, time management, teamwork, and creativity. Groups will be judged by professionals in the industry and top three will present to all participants for the chance to win the grand prize.

Team formation

Due to limited spots, we strongly recommend delegates to reserve their tickets individually before sending in their complete team list. Delegates who do not wish to be put in a specific team will be automatically placed in one at the conference. Each team will be comprised of five people. Further details about team formation and submission will be emailed closer to event date.
