À propos de l'événement
Illuminate x Durham vous propose une conférence virtuelle présentée par Illuminate Universe, en partenariat avec CPA Ontario, Deloitte Canada et Concentra Bank. Notre conférence réunira virtuellement des étudiants de partout dans Durham et la RGT le 17 avril 2021 pour un événement engageant avec des conférenciers, des ateliers, des mentorats et des compétitions dans le but d'extraire le potentiel caché en chacun de vous.
Les étudiants seront en équipes de 4 à 5 et participeront à des activités engageantes telles que des discours inspirants, des ateliers interactifs et des défis collaboratifs tout au long de la journée. Les membres passionnés de l'équipe Durham espèrent vous offrir une journée d'expériences passionnantes et mémorables tout en vous offrant des informations précieuses sur les STEM et les postes de direction. Unissez-vous à d'autres qui partagent votre passion alors que nous apprenons des leaders des STEM et ouvrons la voie pour devenir les prochains leaders.
Alors marquez vos calendriers le 17 avril où nous allons Plongez dans l'avenir des femmes dans les STEM et le leadership. Notez que c'estne pas exclusif aux femmes, nous encourageons les hommes à s'inscrire, et ensemble nous pouvons dépasser la vision.

How many people will be on each team?
Teams will consist of 4 - 5 competitors/applicants. Illuminate will give the final approval for teams.
If you don't have a team of 4 - 5, we will assign other students to your team.
What if I don't have a team?
Any individual applicants or teams with less than five people will be merged together with others to ensure all teams have at least four people.
What happens if I miss the team application deadline?
Application forms are open for you now. We prefer that you apply A.S.A.P. The deadline to apply is 11:59pm PST on the deadline date above.

When does Team Coordination happen? How do I coordinate my team?
Application forms can be accessed by the buttons above. This form will ask for your names and emails for contact.
The deadline to complete the application form is 11:59pm PST on the deadline date aboove.
Please note that if you do not provide the names of your team members, you will be assigned to a team by random.

What can I expect at the conference?
The conference will begin with a keynote which will transition us into our workshops, run by leaders in business. The day will end off with an exciting case study competition. To close it all off, we have a very intriguing keynote speaker planned for the closing remarks!
Do I need to purchase a ticket?
All team members need to each purchase a ticket by the deadline date.
How will communications work?
Each team will elect a “Team Lead." They will then receive event details and information from Illuminate through email (event reminders, case details, etc.) that they must pass along to the rest of their team.
Will I be participating in the case study?
Yes, all attendees will be participating in a case study that must be completed with your team during the conference. Top teams will then present it to the audience + a panel of judges. A prize will be awarded to the top three participants chosen by the panel of judges, as well as, people’s choice awards that will be chosen by the audience and presented to the winners the day of.
