Illuminate X Durham Leadership In Women

Hello everyone. My name is Kabeer Farhan and I'm a grade 10 student attending G.L Roberts collegiate. I had the privilege today to join the illuminate X Durham's regional conference.

Something I learned about today was that as a young person like me we have potential as a child. We are a lot different compared to adults. I learned that kids like us have a lot more imagination than adults. This a huge plus for us kids who can take forward and leap to new things unlike most adults.

Something else i also learned was is that all the leaders and workshop people felt really human and that i could relate to a lot of they talk about. I love how they can be so open about stuff like this.
