Illuminate x Durham!

Hi, I'm Saachi, and I'm in grade 9 at UTS! Today from Illuminate x Durham I learned a lot about myself, women and youth in STEM.

I learned that as youth our opinions are valuable and we should not be silenced but rather voice our concerns and thoughts. Many times in a room full of professionals people can get intimidated and may feel unqualified in the position they're in. However, after today's conference, I learned to be confident in myself and my abilities no matter my age, race, or gender. Being confident in yourself leads to a successful and change in the world.
