Illuminate Durham

Hi everyone! My name is Ahrani Thillainadesan and I am a Grade 10 student at Agincourt C.I. Today, I had the pleasure to attend Illuminate x Durham's regional conference. Here are my thoughts highlighting what I learned about in this conference. I learned how there are different ways on how you can enter the work area. Also how important it is to not give up even if your academic marks are not good. What I learned from Alina Huang is that not everyone is perfect, and we don't have to have great marks to achieve our goal or dream. In today's session, I really enjoyed the activity where we think of a creative idea for 2 pictures. I got to meet some amazing people with amazing ideas. This conference allowed me to think back on what I am going to do in the future.
