Becoming a Business Leader

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am a grade 12 student at Jean Augustine and this is my first ever Illuminate National High School Business Conference. This was a great opportunity to learn about how to do a case competition as well as what a forensic accountant does and I went into this a bit scared as I had no prior experience with case competitions. The experience was worth it and I enjoyed working with my teammates and more about how to analyze, breakdown and dissect a case.There was a lot to take in and understand from this event, and it was a lot more in-depth than most courses at school! It opened my eyes to different careers within the business world and I am looking forward to participating in more Illuminate events.
